What is Balgokulam
It is a forum where –
• Children learn Bhartiya values in enjoyable manner.
• Learn Bhartiya values to appreciate their cultural roots.
• All round personality development is achieved in practice.
• Children make new friends, participate in extra curricular activities, like skits, songs, etc.
• Children learn a sense of responsibility and grow up to be an ideal citizen.
Our Goal
To facilitate children to appreciate, learn and practice Bhartiya way of life.
• To empower our children with a strong sense of identity, instilling in them a deep pride and
unshakable confidence in who they are!
• To raise awareness about our society and make a positive impact!
• Develop social awareness and leadership skills among children.
• To explore the fascinating world of our Sanskruti & Sanskaras through engaging stories,
enjoyable games, and fun-filled activities
How Balgokulam Work ?
Our Volunteers are running 25+ weekly centers in various residential societies and regular courses at schools; touching the lives of 4000+ children in the last decade.
We have volunteers from all walks of life working with no remuneration. We have monthly teacher training sessions for them to maintain quality & share content updates Time & Location is their choice.
Syllabus
- Two Age Groups (5-8 and 9-12)
- Level 1 & 2 Certification
- Topics from five categories – (festivals, Values, heritage, history, moral)
- Two shlokas or mantra and two subhashitani (words of wisdom) every month
- One bhajan or Geet in two months.
- Every month one project (skits, arts/crafts, discussion, talent show)
- Questions (exercise) given after two month
- Friendly exams / certificate distribution year end.
